Terms of Service

Last updated 1 September 2026

These terms govern your use of SMSora. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Acceptable Use Policy.

Template pending professional review

This document is a starting template supplied with the platform. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not legal advice. Have qualified counsel review and adapt it to your jurisdiction, entity and payment arrangements before you rely on it.

1. The service

SMSora provides access to virtual telephone numbers for the purpose of receiving SMS messages, sourced from third-party suppliers. SMSora is not a telecommunications carrier and does not own the underlying numbers.

  • Number availability changes constantly and is never guaranteed.
  • A third-party service may refuse, block or reclaim any number.
  • Receiving an SMS is not itself a guarantee that any third-party account or service will accept the number.
  • SMSora does not guarantee acceptance by any third-party platform.
  • You may use the service only where doing so is permitted by applicable law and by the terms of the third party concerned.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details, keep your credentials secure, and remain responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend an account where we reasonably believe these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy have been breached, or where required to protect the service or other users.

3. Service credits

Your SMSora balance is an internal service credit denominated in US dollars. It is a prepayment for SMSora services and nothing else.

  • Credits are not a deposit, e-money, a currency, or a custodial crypto balance.
  • Credits are not withdrawable and cannot be converted back to cryptocurrency or cash.
  • Credits are not transferable between customers.
  • SMSora does not operate an exchange and does not hold cryptocurrency on your behalf.

4. Deposits

Credits are purchased by sending USDT on the TRC20 network to the address shown in your account, and then submitting the transaction hash for review. The minimum deposit is $200.00.

  • Every deposit is verified manually by a member of staff before any credit is issued.
  • Submitting a transaction hash does not, by itself, credit your balance.
  • You are responsible for sending the correct asset on the correct network to the correct address. Transfers sent on another network, in another asset, or to another address may be permanently lost and cannot be recovered by SMSora.
  • A transaction hash may be used to fund one deposit only.
  • We may decline a deposit, request further information, or return funds where we are unable to verify a transaction.

5. Pricing and charging

Prices are shown before every purchase and are also listed on the pricing page. Each verification has two prices: a successful verification price and a smaller unsuccessful verification fee.

  • When you start a verification, the maximum possible charge is held from your available balance. It is not yet spent.
  • A verification is billed as successful when a verification message is delivered to the allocated number. The successful price is then taken from the held amount.
  • If no message is delivered before the order expires or is cancelled, only the unsuccessful verification fee is taken and the remainder of the hold is released to your available balance.
  • If a number is never allocated, the entire hold is released and nothing is charged.
  • The price applied to an order is the price in force when the order was created.

6. Prohibited use

Use of SMSora for fraud, phishing, spam, account takeover, identity fraud, circumventing security controls or platform bans, creating fake accounts, evading legitimate verification or abuse-prevention systems, or any other unlawful or abusive activity is strictly prohibited. See the Acceptable Use Policy for detail. Breach may result in immediate suspension and forfeiture of remaining credits.

7. Availability and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. SMSora does not warrant uninterrupted availability, the availability of any particular country, service or number, or any particular outcome with a third party. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the service credits remaining on your account. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Changes and termination

We may change these terms, our prices, and the features of the service. Material changes will be notified in the dashboard. You may stop using the service at any time; we may suspend or terminate an account in line with section 2. Financial records are retained as required for accounting and legal purposes.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms should be sent to your SMSora support contact. Support details are shown in the help centre.
