Prohibited activities
You must not use SMSora, or any number obtained through it, for:
- fraud of any kind, including payment fraud and advance-fee fraud;
- phishing, social engineering, or impersonating another person or organisation;
- sending spam or unsolicited bulk messaging;
- taking over, accessing, or attempting to access an account you do not own;
- identity fraud, or misrepresenting who you are to a third party;
- bypassing, defeating or weakening any security control;
- circumventing a ban, suspension or other enforcement action taken by a platform;
- creating fake, bulk or throwaway accounts on any service;
- evading legitimate verification, age-assurance, sanctions screening, or abuse-prevention systems;
- harassment, stalking, threats, or any activity targeting a specific individual;
- anything involving minors that is unlawful or exploitative;
- any other activity that is unlawful in your jurisdiction or ours.
Respect third-party terms
Many services prohibit registering with a virtual or temporary number. It is your responsibility to know and comply with the terms of any service you interact with. SMSora does not grant you permission to breach another party’s terms, and a number working technically does not make its use permitted.
Message content and privacy
Numbers provided through SMSora are shared infrastructure sourced from third-party suppliers. Do not use them to receive sensitive personal data, confidential information, medical or financial records, or anything you would not want a third party to see. Treat every message as potentially visible to others.
Enforcement
We investigate reports of misuse. Depending on severity we may warn an account, suspend it, cancel in-flight orders, withhold or forfeit remaining service credits, and — where we are legally obliged or where there is a risk to others — cooperate with law enforcement or the affected platform.
Reporting abuse
If you believe an SMSora number has been used against you or your platform, contact support with the number, the approximate time, and what happened. We take these reports seriously.
