Automatic releases
These happen without you having to ask, as part of normal operation:
- No number allocated. If the supplier cannot allocate a number, the entire held amount is released back to your available balance and nothing is charged.
- No message received. If the order expires or you cancel it before any message arrives, only the unsuccessful verification fee is charged and the remainder of the hold is released.
When a charge stands
Once a verification message has been delivered to your number, SMSora has provided the service and the successful verification price applies. This is the case even if the third-party platform subsequently rejects the number, blocks the account, or asks for another verification step — outcomes SMSora cannot observe or control.
Discretionary refunds
If something went wrong that is not covered above — for example a technical fault on our side, a duplicate charge, or a number that was clearly unusable — contact support with the order reference. An administrator can review the order and issue a refund of the amount charged back to your service-credit balance.
- Refunds are issued as service credit, never as cryptocurrency or cash.
- An order can be refunded once. Duplicate refunds are prevented by the system.
- Every refund is recorded against the original order in your transaction history.
Deposits
Deposits are credited only after manual verification. If a deposit cannot be verified it is rejected and no credit is issued; the reason is shown on the deposit. Because service credits are not withdrawable, an approved deposit cannot be reversed back to cryptocurrency — please make sure you intend to use the service before depositing. See the Terms for the full position on credits.
Chargebacks and disputes
Raise any dispute with support first. We keep a complete ledger of every movement on your balance — including what was held, what was charged and what was released — and can walk through any line with you.
